Qriket

Qriket is a game app where you obtain spins by watching short ads. Once you have spins available you have a shot to spin the wheel. Before each spin it tells you what amount you could potentially win. I haven't won more than $0.50 per spin, although my boyfriend won $1 tonight. You select one of two colors which is what determines your fate. Once you have $25 you can request payment and it's sent via PayPal.

Referral system: There is a nice referral system that gives you $0.25 for each referral. The nice part is that you receive it instantly. Qriket will also give you 25 free spins if you sign up under my referral link. What are you waiting for? Join Qriket!

Slide Joy

Slide Joy is a lock screen app that pays you to display an ad on your lock screen. You can swipe right to go to your home screen or swipe left to dig deeper into the ads. I always swipe right and it doesn't seem to effect my earnings. On average I'll earn 60 points per day. Points are updated daily at 1pm.

The points currency are Carats and 1,000 Carats are equal to $1. In addition to using the lock screen, you can complete other offers to rack up Carats such as downloading apps, taking surveys, etc.

Once you have 2,000 Carats then you're eligible to redeem a $2 gift card from various retailers.

Referral system: Apparently Slide Joy does have a referral program although it's not clear what it is. The FAQ on their website state your earnings are maximized when you refer others. Sign up for Slide Joy

Shop Kick

Shop Kick is a cool app that pays you to walk into stores and scan products. Some stores only have product scans, but some offer both. The currency on Shop Kick is, fittingly enough, kicks. You also earn kicks if you buy a product that is on the product scans list. Some of the bigger stores can easily earn you 100-200 kicks. In addition, some product scans can only be done once even if that particular scan is at more than one retailer.

Once you have 500 kicks you can redeem a $2 gift card. The denominations offered are $2, $5, $25, $50 and $100.

Referral system: There is a referral system in which you will earn 250 kicks for each referral that completes their first walk in or scan. There is a limit on referrals which is 100. Join Shop Kick and start earning today.

Receipt Pal

Receipt Pal is very similar to Receipt Hog in the sense that you snap pictures of receipts for points. However, Receipt Pal isn't quite as restrictive. They accept receipts from anywhere including fast food restaurants. You can also submit receipts that are 30 days old. You can't submit receipts from July in August. The exception is they'll give you the first couple days of a new month to submit receipts from the previous month.

Unlike Receipt Pal, you are limited to how many receipts you can submit in a specific time frame. Receipt Pal gives you 3-4 new cards every week and each card will hold 4 receipts. Each card is worth 100 points so once you've filled a card, you'll be awarded those points.

There are a range of points needed to redeem gift cards. For example, once you reach 2,000 points you can redeem a $5 Amazon gift card. Alternatively if you're more patient you can wait to reach 7500 points for $25. Other gift card options are offered such as Restaurant.com

Receipt Pal currently does not offer any referral incentives.

Receipt Hog

Receipt Hog is an app where you are paid to scan receipts. You must scan a receipt within 14 days. Most receipts are accepted with the exception of food, drink, veterinary bills, utility bills, etc. Funds are redeemed via Amazon gift cards or PayPal with the minimum being $5 which is 1,000 coins.

There is a points system that is determined by the dollar amount on your receipt which ranges from 5 to 20 coins. Under $10 is 5 coins,

Your progress is tracked each week by a meter that tells how many coins you earned. You can earn coins from receipts at face value for up to 100 coins per week. Once you've reached 100 coins, all receipts are worth 5 coins regardless of the value. You can also only snap 20 receipts in a 7 day period.

Receipt Hog currently does not offer any referral incentives.

Ibotta

Ibotta is probably the best app in it's category when comparing to Checkout 51, Shopmium, etc.

Ibotta has the most rebates available with dozens of retailers. Ibotta recommends browsing their rebates prior to a shopping trip since the whole point of Ibotta is to discover new brands. However, I simply buy what is on sale or at a good price. I'll check Ibotta after a shopping trip to see if there are any rebates I can claim. Once you've earned $20 you can cash out for an Amazon gift card; $25 for PayPal.

If you connect your Facebook you can participate in challenges with other people that become your team mates. You get bonuses if you redeem so many rebates for that month or earn a certain amount in rebates.

Referral system: Ibotta has a referral system in place. If you sign up under me then you'll earn $10 the first time you redeem points and I'll earn $5. Click here to join Ibotta

Microsoft Rewards (formerly Bing Rewards)

Bing Rewards is a paid to search and complete tasks website. 95% of your earnings come in the form of PC and mobile searches. You do have various tasks that only require you click on it to earn points. Bing Rewards recently changed to Microsoft Rewards. The currency has changed, so instead of being rewarded 1 points it's now 10. The cost to redeem stuff hasn't really changed too much, except for one aspect. If you were previously a Gold member you could receive a discount on redemptions. Now with Microsoft Rewards that level is referred to as level 2 and they took away the discount.

Microft Rewards no longer has a referral incentive program.
